Copitas for Mezcal, Pottery Green Mezcal Glasses, Set of 6

Looking for a gift for the person who has everything? How about a bottle of Mezcal and a set of copitas, a gift that everyone can participate in! What are copitas?? Not long ago I received a special order for a set of Mezcal shot glasses called copitas. After a little research I discovered that Mezcal is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from the maguey plant (a form of agave) native to Mexico. The maguey grows in many parts of Mexico, though most mezcal is made in Oaxaca. There is a saying attributed to Oaxaca regarding the drink: “para todo mal, mezcal, y para todo bien tambien” (“for everything bad, mezcal; for everything good, the same”). These are my newest design with the copitas – and I love them! We have been putting designs in the bottom of the copitas for restaurants, mezcalerias, weddings – now we have one of our own! The design is of the maguey plant itself, and the green glaze pools up in the design making it beautiful and unique. Interested in having us make some copitas with your own design?
