Delft Tile Landscape Series by Harlinger (#10 of 16), Delft Blue

This 13cm x 13cm (5.125″ x 5.125″) delft blue tile is one of 16 available in this series as new production from the Harlinger factory in the Netherlands. Made in the age-old majolica process, the tile is a spot-on reproduction of delft tiles that are up to 400 years old. These tiles are hand-formed and completely hand-painted in the Harlinger factory in the province of Friesland in northern Netherlands. A couple of touches that the factory engineers into the product to complete this effect is the crackle finish, and the points in the glaze in two opposite corners. Both of which lend a distinct antique finish to these new tiles.
