Peter Zumthor Spice Castor

This glass spice castor cruet with silver plated steel top was designed by Swiss architect Zumthor. The faceted sides reflect forms in nature such as crystals, stalagmites, stalactites. Peter Zumthor was commissioned to rethink the east campus at LACMA. An exhibition about this project, The Presence of the Past: Peter Zumthor Reconsiders LACMA, was on view at LACMA in 2013.
